YOGA FOR A HAPPY BACK & HIPS Wednesdays 6:00 -7:15 pm $60 for 6 weeks March 18 - April 22
Do you tend to carry tension in your back or hips? People often develop stiffness because their jobs require long periods of sitting. Active people (runners, swimmers and bikers, for example) also develop inflexibility when they fail to cross-train. This 6-week series will teach you how to gently release tight tissues to feel freer in your body. Each 75-minute class begins with a short talk where you will learn about the anatomy of the pelvis and hips; followed by gentle movements to increase your body awareness; and finally 45-55 minutes of yoga practice. You must register for all 6 sessions. This course will be offered again, so if you have to miss a session you will be allowed to "make up" the missed session for free.
